Jalapeno cheese biscuit recipe  

All-Purpose flour                 12 oz

Sugar                                       1 oz

Baking powder                       .75 oz

Salt                                          ½ tsp

Butter ,cold                            4 oz

Eggs                                         2 oz

Buttermilk                              6 oz

Parmesan cheese                  4 oz

Smoked cheddar                  4 oz

Jalapeno pepper                   1

Honey                                     1 Tbs

Egg Wash as needed

  1. Line sheet pan with parchment or tin foil
  2. Cut jalapeno into small dice
  3. Combine the flour, sugar ,baking soda , and salt
  4. Add the cold butter and rub together until mixture is mealy consistency add jalapeno and 4 oz of cheese
  5. Combine eggs and buttermilk together . Add to flour mixture and mix
  6. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a 1 in. thickness and cut out biscuits
  7. Place biscuits on the lined sheet pan and apply honey egg wash  and top with cheese
  8. Bake at 425° F/218°C until golden brown about 15 min
  9. Transfer the biscuits to rack and allow to cool
